What is Caput Mundi Co. ?

Founded in 2022 by Jori Bonadurer, CaputMundiCo. is a virtual celebration of Rome.

It’s an online magazine + lifestyle brand dedicated to the golden hour sun on palazzi, being called cara by a barista, laughing with friends in a pizzeria, and enjoying the pace of the city.  

We provide stories on Rome for people who love this city. People who- despite seeing the issues and flaws- can lean into charm and magic of Rome. That, yes, Rome is crazy. And yes, it can be a mess. But it is a beautiful one.

About Jori bonadurer

Writer, traveller, art historian, and lover of all things Rome

Born in Chicago, Jori always knew she wanted to travel. After her first trip to Rome she was hooked. After studying at John Cabot University in Rome and graduating with a Master’s degree in Art History (focusing on the ancient Romans, of course!) she combined her love all of all things Rome to create Caput Mundi Co.

Now living in Rome full-time, you can find Jori searching for the best cacio e pepe in the city, searching for Roman sarcophagi, or jogging along the Tiber.
